First of all this site was thought up by and created by a college student. This isn't the first site that was created to rate professors. There have been other college students, some professors, at least one corporation, and even a fraternity who have created websites for the purpose of rating or evaluating professors. However this site is one of the only sites that has been created to allow students from any school to rate their professors and view the ratings of any other professors that have been rated. So I know some of you are thinking yeah so what does all this mean. Well did you ever take a course and wonder what the professor was like. So you went and asked everyone you know if they ever took that professor and no one had. Well this site is for you because even if no one you know has taken that professor some one you don't know just might have and then rated that professor on here. Also have you ever taken a course and had a really horrible professor that you hated. Well here's your chance to tell the world how much that professor sucked. On the other hand, have you ever had an awesome professor that you totally admired and you want to tell the world how great that professor was? Well here's your chance. Just keep in mind this site isn't just for either praising or criticizing your professor. You can also just say your professor was ok. You should rate every professor you have at the end of every quarter/semester. That way more of the professors will get rated.
